Troubleshooting (Global)

Fix playback, buffering, or login issues quickly. Global support for Smart TVs, Android TV, LG, Samsung, and Fire TV.

Playback issues

  • Speed test: Check speedtest.net ≥ ensure >= 10 Mbps HD / 25 Mbps 4K.
  • Change engine: In TiviMate → settings (Decoder), pick Exo/Auto.
  • Clear cache: App menu → Settings > Advanced > Clear cache > Clear data.
  • VPN: Try a paid VPN (Nord/ExpressVPN) if ISP blocks IPTV.

Login or playlist errors

  • Verify credentials: Check email/password & MAC address sent by support.
  • Login type: Ensure you selected Playlist (M3U) if using Portal, or Xtream Codes if using Mac Address login.
  • Check URL: Verify the provider URL matches the login type exactly.

Network problems

  • Restart router: Unplug your router/modem for 30 seconds, then plug back in.
  • Set DNS: Change DNS in TV/Box network settings to 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8.
  • Use Ethernet: Wi-Fi is convenient, but Ethernet provides stability.

Audio / video sync

  • Toggle Hardware Decode: In player settings, turn "Hardware Decoding" to ON or "Preferred".
  • TiviMate: Player → Decoder > Advanced > Hardware Decoding.
  • IPTV Smarters: Settings > Player > Hardware Acceleration.

App-specific fixes

  • Smart STB: Enter → Provider URL & Portal URL correctly (case-sensitive).
  • IPTV Smarters: Use Portal URL mode instead of M3U Playlist for better EPG.
  • TiviMate: Menu > Playback > Hardware Acceleration > Network.
